Our approach to personal training envelopes the whole person; working with medical and other doctors in New Mexico for the past 20+ years we specialize in connective tissue and neuromuscular balancing with a focus on pain management and overall physical fitness. We work with our clients to improve their muscle tone, or to lose weight, or correcting their posture to relieve pain from muscle imbalances. Our personal training approach will take into account what you want and need to be successful at reaching your health and fitness goals, and give you the precious knowledge, skills, and abilities to continue on for the rest of your life. We integrate many other disciplines to help people become and stay physically fit and stay out of pain. The goal of personal training isn't just to increase how many miles you can run or how much weight you can lift; but also practice to improve coordination, flexibility and mental well-being. Our belief is that health is best obtained when everything is considered, as opposed to just the symptoms of a particular issue.
Fitness is more than simply being able to lift your weight above your head or your chin up over a bar. It is more than running the 5K or the 10K. It goes deeper than a six-pack or sharply defined biceps. To better understand what it means to be truly fit, we need to look deeper at the whole person. Our approach includes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being, and it goes beyond the exercise that you get at a gym.
We understand that not all bodies are the same and not all fitness levels are identical. Our bodies were meant to move, no matter age or fitness level. In order to "move" the way we were designed, we sometimes need to look past the obvious symptoms and look at the person and the lifestyle as a whole to unravel the onion of pain.
